Karmin and Danny’s wedding was the perfect mix of heartfelt moments, personal touches, and just the right amount of.... facial hair.

The morning started with Danny and his friends getting ready at home. Which meant not only tying ties and straightening jackets, but also making sure his signature long hair and beard were looking their absolute best. Meanwhile, Karmin and her crew gathered at the Atlas Hotel, joined by her adorable nephew who kept everyone laughing with his antics.

From there, the day moved to Karmin’s family farm just north of Pilot Butte, where so many unforgettable memories were about to be made. Guests were greeted with live music, the procession was garnished with very cute kiddos and Karmin’s grand entrance was anything but ordinary. With the crowd chanting “move that bus!” (yes, that reference), the party bus pulled away to reveal the bride and the cheers could be heard for miles.

Adding another special twist to the day, Danny’s best man had gotten ordained just for this moment and officiated the ceremony. Karmin and Danny also planted a tree together as part of their vows, a beautiful symbol of the roots they’re putting down together. After sealing it all with a kiss, their guests showered them in confetti as they ran to their getaway car — a vintage Oldsmobile — and took off down the road.

We followed them for portraits with the car and a private vow reading, tucked away from the crowd. It was one of those quiet, grounding moments that made the whirlwind of the day pause for just a little while. From there, it was off to White Butte Trails for family and wedding party photos, where we braved the wind and sun to capture some gorgeous shots.

Of course, no road trip-style wedding day would be complete without snacks. On the way back into the city, Karmin and Danny stopped at Crème Café for treats and cold drinks, and even popped into 7/11 before heading up to the rooftop of the Delta for a few stunning couple portraits with the city skyline.

The celebration came full circle back at the Atlas for their reception. There were heartfelt speeches, a slideshow of guest photos, a plated dinner, dancing, and all the good energy you’d expect from a night like this.

Karmin and Danny’s wedding day was filled with laughter, music, a little adventure, and so much love. It was such a joy to capture their story from start to finish. RC and I loved being a part of their big day!
