Lexi and Tyler’s wedding day was the perfect reminder that some of the best wedding days are the ones that feel effortless, relaxed, and full of genuine moments. With beautiful fall sunshine, a little wind, lots of laughter, and a whole lot of love, their October 3rd wedding at The Station just outside of Regina was such a fun day to be a part of.

The Station is a newer venue with so much to love, from its gorgeous glass sunroom and open outdoor spaces to the suites where everyone can get ready before the big moment. It was the perfect setting for Lexi and Tyler’s laid-back wedding day.

I started the morning with Lexi in the beautiful Bluebell Suite at The Station. While everyone was getting ready, Lexi was the picture of calm, sipping her drink and having her hair done while music played in the background. Her two bridesmaids were there with her, and as the morning went on, the excitement slowly started to build.

Meanwhile, RC was hanging out with Tyler, his brother, and a few friends as they got ready in another area of the venue. There was that familiar wedding-day buzz in the air, but everything still felt easygoing and relaxed.

Before the ceremony, Lexi and Tyler had planned something special: a private first look and vow exchange.

RC and I found a quiet spot behind the venue and closed off the fenced area so the two of them could have a little time together without anyone else around. It was such a sweet moment. Tyler was clearly excited to see his bride, and getting to share that first look privately gave them a chance to slow down and enjoy being together before the rest of the day unfolded.

These little moments are always so special because they give couples a chance to take a breath, connect, and really soak in what the day is all about.

Before long, guests began arriving, and it was time for the ceremony!

It was another sunny but windy day in Saskatchewan. Thankfully, the temperatures weren't too chilly, and the weather gave us some beautiful fall light to work with. Lexi and Tyler's ceremony was short, sweet, and focused on what mattered most: the two of them choosing each other.

After the ceremony, we gathered everyone for family photos before heading out to explore a couple of nearby locations for portraits.

First, we made use of a wooded area close to The Station for family photos and a few portraits. Then we loaded up the wedding party and made the short drive to White Butte Trails.

The trails gave us a beautiful natural backdrop for photos, and we did our best to find sheltered spots away from the sun and wind. The Saskatchewan breeze definitely made itself known, though, and Lexi was starting to feel the chill!

We made the most of the time we had, captured some lovely moments with the wedding party, and headed back to The Station before the cold could take over. Wedding photos are important, but keeping everyone comfortable is important, too!

Back at The Station, we took advantage of the beautiful glass sunroom for a few more portraits of Lexi and Tyler before the reception began.

The natural light in this space was gorgeous, and it was such a lovely place to bring the two of them together for a few quieter photos after the excitement of the ceremony and wedding party portraits.

As the afternoon turned into evening, the sun began to set, and the light coming through the glass created an even more beautiful atmosphere inside the venue.

Once the reception began, everyone settled in to celebrate the newlyweds. The food was delicious, the speeches were heartfelt, and there were plenty of sweet moments throughout the evening.

One of my favourite details was being able to see the sunset through the glass sunroom during the reception. It added such a beautiful backdrop to an already lovely evening.

There were cute dances, lots of smiles, and that comfortable, happy energy that made the whole day feel so much like Lexi and Tyler. Nothing felt overly rushed or complicated. Everyone was simply there to celebrate two people they loved.

Later in the evening, Lexi and Tyler snuck away with a few friends to continue the celebration on a smaller scale. It was such a fun way to end a wedding day that had been all about keeping things relaxed and enjoying the moment.

Lexi and Tyler, thank you for letting us be part of your wedding day!

From your sweet private first look to the windy portraits, beautiful sunset, and laid-back reception, your day was such a joy to capture. Your wedding was a perfect mix of meaningful moments, beautiful scenery, and a whole lot of fun. It was relaxed, genuine, and full of the little things that make a wedding day memorable.

Congratulations to you both! We hope married life brings you many more adventures, plenty of laughter, and countless reasons to celebrate together.
