Aimee and Ed’s wedding day was one for the books — filled with love, laughter, a few raindrops, and just the right amount of chaos that makes a wedding perfectly memorable.

The morning started quietly as the girls got ready in the hotel room, sipping coffee and soaking in those “last few hours before I do” jitters. Meanwhile, RC hung out with the boys back at the couple’s home, capturing all the fun (and probably more than a few ties being tied the wrong way before being fixed).

Once everyone was looking their best, we hopped on the party bus to the church where Aimee and Ed said their vows during a full Catholic mass — complete with communion. Just as they made their grand exit, the sky decided to sprinkle a little luck on them. Rain or shine, nothing could stop the smiles on their faces as they greeted guests in their receiving line.

And because no wedding is complete without a cameo from the real VIPs — their dogs — we made a quick stop at the neighbor’s backyard for photos. Umbrellas in hand, pups in tow, and a little drizzle falling around us, it honestly couldn’t have been sweeter (or funnier).

Next stop: the Mackenzie Art Gallery. Since the weather was not exactly cooperating (wind + rain = creative posing), we took shelter inside and out and made some magic there. The wedding party rolled with it all like absolute pros, keeping spirits high and laughter flowing through every photo.

By the time we arrived at The Atlas Hotel, everyone was ready to celebrate. There were heartfelt (and hilarious) speeches, a delicious meal followed by the dreamiest dessert buffet, and some pretty adorable first dances. We wrapped up the night with the cake cutting — because let’s be honest, no wedding is truly complete until there’s cake!

Aimee and Ed, your wedding day may have come with a little rain, but it was overflowing with love, joy, and all the good stuff that makes life together so sweet. Thanks for letting RC and I be a part of it all! 💕
