New Year's Eve is already a night full of excitement and new beginnings. Imagine adding a wedding to that mix, creating a celebration that blends holiday cheer with heartfelt vows. Abby and Jordan’s wedding in Regina was exactly that kind of magical day. Luckily for RC, Sherry and, we had the joy of capturing moments that combined deep family ties, church traditions, and the warmth of lifelong friendships.

Getting Ready Surrounded by Loved Ones

The day started at Abby’s home, where the atmosphere was lively and full of love. Her large bridal party included family members and lifelong friends she grew up with, creating a cozy and joyful setting. The house was buzzing with laughter and anticipation, perfectly matching the size and spirit of the group. We captured sweet first looks, both with Abby’s dad and her bridal crew, moments filled with genuine emotion and excitement.

This part of the day showed how important family is to Abby and Jordan. It also set the tone for the rest of the wedding, emphasizing connection and support. For brides planning their own weddings, having your closest people around while getting ready can create memories that last a lifetime and make your photos truly special.

A Ceremony Rooted in Faith and Tradition

Abby and Jordan’s ceremony took place at the Grand Holy Rosary in Regina on New Year’s Eve. Both families are deeply involved with the church, which made the full mass service a meaningful part of their day. The church was filled with warmth and reverence, reflecting the couple’s faith and the support of their community.

The ceremony was not just a formality but a heartfelt moment where Abby and Jordan said their vows surrounded by family and friends who share their values. For couples considering a church wedding, this ceremony showed how tradition can blend beautifully with personal love stories.

Snowy Photos at Wascana Park

After the ceremony, we headed to Wascana Park for photos. The snow-covered landscape created a scene straight out of a Hallmark movie. The crisp winter air and soft snowfall added a magical touch to the portraits, highlighting the couple’s joy and the season’s charm. Abby and Jordan didn't even seem to notice the chilly weather! I love when winter weddings in Regina offer unique photo opportunities like this. The contrast of white snow with warm smiles and elegant attire makes for stunning images.

A Grand Celebration with Family and Fun

The reception took place at Resurrection Parish, welcoming 300 guests to celebrate Abby and Jordan’s union. The winter-themed decor created a cozy, festive atmosphere that combined holiday vibes with wedding elegance. Guests enjoyed a turkey dinner, heartfelt speeches, and the popular shoe game, which brought laughter and connection to the evening.

One of the highlights was the couple’s first dance. It was the most intricate I’ve seen at a Regina wedding, showcasing their dedication and teamwork. This dance perfectly symbolized their partnership and added a unique touch to the celebration. We also got to finish our night off by watching an epic boys vs girls Conga line!

Bringing Together Wedding and Holiday Spirit

Abby and Jordan’s New Year’s Eve wedding was a beautiful blend of family, faith, and festivity. The day flowed naturally from intimate moments at home to a sacred ceremony, snowy portraits, and a lively reception. For brides looking for inspiration, this wedding shows how to create a meaningful celebration that honors tradition while embracing the joy of the season!
