Melissa & Braden - Love Party

Updated: 2 days ago

Sherry and I had the incredible honour of photographing Melissa and Braden’s beautiful wedding, surrounded by their friends and family—including their adorable 3-year-old son. The day was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments that perfectly captured their unique bond.

The day began with a relaxed and joyous atmosphere as everyone got ready. There were heartfelt toasts, laughter, and refreshing drinks that helped everyone cool down on the warm summer day. It was a wonderful way to kick off the celebrations and set the tone for the day ahead.

The ceremony took place at the stunning Wascana View Park, where the sun shone brightly on the guests. A playful twist awaited everyone as a beer crew dressed in tutus greeted the crowd with drinks, bringing smiles and laughter to the start of the ceremony.

As Melissa made her grand entrance to "Sweet but Psycho," there was a collective chuckle from the crowd, but the laughter quickly turned to tears of joy when Braden saw his bride walking down the aisle. It was a moment filled with raw emotion, and I could feel the love radiating from everyone present as they exchanged their vows.

After saying “I do,” the couple hopped on a party bus to celebrate with their wedding party. The ride to the White Butte Ski Trails was filled with laughter and excitement, and we took advantage of the scenic backdrop to capture some fun photos. Despite the heat, Melissa and Braden’s love shone brightly, and their happiness made for some truly memorable shots.

The reception at the White City Community Hall was nothing short of spectacular. The dessert table, crafted by Melissa and her family, was a stunning centerpiece that showcased their creativity and love for sweet treats. With an open bar and plenty of dancing, the energy in the room was infectious, and it was clear that everyone was there to celebrate this special couple.

Melissa and Braden’s wedding was a beautiful testament to their love and the joy of family and friends coming together. I’m so grateful to have been part of their day, capturing moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. Sherry and I had a blast! Congratulations, Melissa and Braden! Here’s to a wonderful journey ahead filled with love, laughter, and happiness.
