Some weddings are full of little surprises that make the day uniquely their own, and Jadeen & Gage’s was one of those unforgettable celebrations.
The morning started at Jadeene & Gage’s home, where the bride got ready surrounded by her closest friends. Between laughter, yard games, and a celebratory champagne pop, the atmosphere was light and joyful. Exactly what you’d want before slipping into a wedding dress! Of course, no wedding day would be complete without a little hiccup Just as Jadeene was about to get dressed, the clasp on her gown broke! Luckily, with quick teamwork from her maid of honour (and myself jumping in as backup), we managed to fix it just in time for the party bus arrival.
Meanwhile, Gage was getting ready at a friend’s house, calm and collected before the whirlwind of the day truly began. Next, the couple met at Condie Nature Reserve for their private first look, and though the winds were strong enough to challenge us all, nothing could steal the magic of that moment. They laughed, embraced, and then braved the breeze for portraits and group photo; their joy shining through no matter the weather.
The ceremony at the Turvey Centre was heartfelt and beautiful. Even though Gage had already seen Jadeene earlier, he couldn’t hold back tears when she walked down the aisle toward him. Those moments never lose their wonder. Afterward, we headed back to Condie for family portraits before returning to the Turvey Centre for an evening full of love and laughter.
The reception brought everything from hilarious speeches to the sweetest cake cutting, followed by tender first dances. One of the most moving parts of the evening was a tribute dance for Jadeene’s late father, set to The Bearcat. It was a touching reminder of the love and memories carried forward into this new chapter of their lives.
Jadeen & Gage’s day was full of joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments. It was the kind of wedding that lingers with you long after the lights dim.
Sherry and I were honoured to be a part of your special moments, Jade and Gage. You derserve all the happiness in the world and I know you will have that with each other forever.
