Allison & Matt - From Aisle to Aisle

Allison and Matt tied the knot on the first weekend of July, and their wedding day was nothing short of magical. From heartfelt moments to joyful celebrations, every part of their day reflected their deep connection and the community of love that surrounds them.

The day began with a private first look near the university — a peaceful moment shared just between the two of them. Allison looked stunning as she showed off her versatile wedding dress, while Matt stood in awe of his bride. Instead of sharing separate vows, the couple did something uniquely beautiful: they wrote their vows together and read them aloud in the quiet company of their closest friends. It was a touching, intimate moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.

After the first look, we made our way to Government House for portraits. The grounds were the perfect backdrop for capturing the love between these two — classic, elegant, and full of summer light.

Their ceremony took place at the iconic cathedral on 13th Avenue, a space filled with music, prayers, and passages that celebrated their faith and love. Surrounded by friends and family, Allison and Matt exchanged their vows in a meaningful and spiritual ceremony.

Once the family photos were finished on the church steps, we made our way to Lumsden Hall for the reception. It was a lively celebration — kids played with hula hoops and posed with Photo Booth props while the adults enjoyed conversation and cocktails. After a delicious meal, heartfelt speeches were shared that had everyone laughing and tearing up in equal measure.

Guests were treated to cool ice cream treats before Allison and Matt cut their cake and shared their first dance. Not long after, the dance floor came to life, with the DJ leading everyone in a fun conga line that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Allison and Matt’s wedding was full of joy, meaning, and personal touches — a day that perfectly reflected their love story. It was a true honour to capture these memories for them.
