An elegant, fall wedding...was exactly what Victoria and Will were hoping for and wow, was it ever beautifully done!! The two share a love for Disney and this was a wedding perfect for a Princess and her Prince Charming. I cant imagine this wedding being set anywhere other than the Saskatchewan Hotel. Every last detail was carefully thought out and perfectly executed!
Happy tears (which, I love) started early in the day. Several first looks were planned - one with the bridesmaids, one with her husband-to-be, one with her father, and unexpectedly, one with herself. Their daughter, Athena, was a big part of the day, often stealing the show with her contagious energy and gorgeous princess gown. Family was a central focus as both sets of parents and siblings celebrated alongside them from morning to night.
We went out to White Butte Trails to do the formal photos, and due to a couple minor hiccups, had less time than planned for the couples photos. Not to worry though, as I had planned to steal them away for some unique portraits within the hotel - making use of my newfound off camera flash skills. They were so patient and trusting of Sherry and I, and I think that the results were worth it.
Dinner was fantastic, and the company I had at my table was lovely as Sherry and I got to know Barry from Kings Court Music. Speeches were sweet and heartfelt. Even little Athena took the mic for a brief moment to sing a little bit of a song. And they danced!! Not just the first dance, I mean, they got their drink on and hit the dance floor! It was so fun to watch and capture everyone having a good time and celebrating.
This was a fairytale wedding, for the most deserving couple and I'm so happy to have been a part of it!
