Jeanniene & Nolan - Married!

My last wedding in June sure was a fun one! Jeanniene and Nolan are such a sweet and carefree couple. The day was filled with laughter, love, and lots of dancing & twirling. I was joined this time by my good friend and talented artist, Kassidy with Elysian Photo Co.

While the gentlemen got ready in one of the suites at #HotelSask, the ladies and I spent time at one of the bridesmaids homes. Many of the details involved in their wedding hold sentimental value to the couple. The dress was made by the Bride herself, her pearls are a family heirloom, and her earrings a gift from her new husband. The little box on which the rings sit was also handcrafted by Nolan. They are both engineers, but, also very creative and artistic people. Which, I love, because when it came time to do photos with the couple, they were all in when it came to my more creative ideas.

We did most of the couples portraits at the Trafalgar outlook (long bridge with the #Legislative in the background) as it has special meaning to the couple as well. Before they moved to BC, they took a photo in that location as a reminder of home. It only seemed fitting to capture more special memories there as well.

Both their ceremony and their reception was held at the #ConexusArtsCentre. Such a beautiful and spacious venue filled with plenty of natural like and room for all of their guests. It has a great dance floor, too, which was well used later in the evening. This couple can dance! In fact, their first dance was a waltz! Their guests had a great time tearing up the dance floor, too.

Such a fun day, it was a blast to be there. Thank you to Kassidy for spending the day with me and being an excellent partner!
