It feels like yesterday, that I was dancing the night away at my own wedding. It was one of the most amazing days of my life... and it was over in a heartbeat. I don’t remember every promise written in our vows,
or every song we danced to that night, but..

Why?
How can I capture the truest you if I don’t actually know you? I could certainly guess and still take stunning photos of you. But, that’s not me. I don’t do 80 copy&paste weddings a year. I’m a big believer in quality over quantity. For this reason, I limit my availability, so I can be as fully committed to your big day as you are.
I am intentional with my couples. I am in it. 100 percent, heart on my sleeve, invested in you. Beautiful photographs start with a genuine connection (not just between you and your partner) but between you and I. I want you to trust me and know that I have your back. And your front…you know, all the best angles. These are once-in-a-lifetime moments for you and I care about capturing them perfectly as much as you do.

Saying "I do"
I always say that there are 3 main things you should look for while choosing your perfect photographer.
1) You love my work. My portfolio contains images that you feel a connection to - ones that you could see yourself in. You love the colours, the lighting, the composition. They capture the right moments at the right time.
Everyone looks comfortable and natural.
2) You like me. I think this is the most important one. If you connect with me on a personal level, then everything will feel more relaxed and comfortable. Photographs turn out so much better when everyone is enjoying themselves & when you feel safe enough to be candid in front of the camera. Not only that, but, I'll be with you on your wedding day more than your maid of honour or best man. It would be a long, awkward day if we didn't vibe.
3) You can trust me. The foundation of every great relationship is trust. You need to know that you can count on me to communicate honestly with you, be on time, and deliver you with the quality images you fell in love with.
Trust is built and earned, not instant. That's why I follow a more personal approach when it comes to weddings...

When I moved to Saskatchewan, all of my dreams began to come true. Moving here from Alberta to live with the love of my life in Regina was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Beautiful skies, dynamic scenery and passionate sports fans - Regina is such an interesting place to live. A few years after I made the move to Saskatchewan, I married my husband Ryan, and we started our family. We love to travel, and have been on many trips around the world together, but, we enjoy being here in the YQR. Admittedly, I never pictured myself photographing weddings here, or even living here, but, Im sure glad I do!
